Amjad Al Hajj is an award-winning architect and a clockmaker. Amjad designed a clock tower called – Dubai Clock which was launched at the Hotel Show 2018. The ‘Dubai Clock’ is designed for indoor or outdoor squares, hotels or parks, and is three meters high with a combination of numerical shapes adorned with numbers arranged on glass surfaces and made of steel.

CHALLENGES

Amjad has previously designed many individual wall clocks which have received great acceptance across the globe. However, the Dubai Clock is a piece apart, considering the nature of the clock, the major challenge faced was to reach out to the business fraternity.

RESULTS

Jpd PR targeted specific sector media post identifying the client’s objective. Agency organised interviews with key media at the Hotel Show, to build awareness among the hospitality brands. Agency secured coverage in print, online, TV and Radio, in order to expand its reach and build awareness.
